Once you have worked out the key people you want to share your AEDI results with, the next step is to plan how you will share the results. There are many ways you can do this:
Some ways to share the AEDI results
Tap into existing networks
- Find out when and where existing key groups in the community meet and arrange to attend
- Arrange to have information included into professional group communications (e.g. group emails, professional publications)
- Arrange for information to go on local websites, into local e-newsletters and other electronic forums
- Speak to your local newspaper or radio station about doing a story on the AEDI and your community
Create new opportunities
- Set up a community meeting, forum or informal gathering with key groups
- Visit, phone or make presentations to local stakeholders (TIP - View AEDI PowerPoint presentations)
- Invite guest speakers to a forum. For example a person from a community who took part in the AEDI pilot project. (TIP - your AEDI State/Territory Coordinator can tell you who is close to you).
Tools and materials are available in the 'Resources' tab at the top of your screen to help communicate the AEDI results.
